Weekend Home

• Why does anyone own a Weekend Home? It is because to relax and have calm and fun times, making memories away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It should also feel that the home, complements the natural setting that most weekend homes are surrounded with. This project of ours was consisting of a very special request, that the client wanted the color white to be used in all the elements of all the rooms as much as possible. So, we essentially selected a minimal theme having an interspersion of solid white with gold.
• Design Philosophy (Living Area) – Large spacious rooms with expansive sofas give a feeling of larger than life living. Also, there are minimum elements like Buddha Statue, vases etc. The reason being we wanted the golden lining wall and artifact to not lose its glory. The butterfly wall design has been created with MS using laser cut & Powder coating.
• Design Philosophy (Entertainment Room) – The entertainment room was walled with plush white leather sponges, with a hanging TV cabinet. Again, there was maximum sitting capacity made available with minimum room elements. The lighting was strategically placed minimal LED light profiles running all the way from the ceiling to the wall.
• Design Philosophy (Kitchen & Dining) – The focus room nowadays in most of the homes is the Kitchen. Our approach was to provide smart storage solutions while creating an ultra-modern kitchen with extensive use of PU material drawers and other storage equipment’s. The dining table is also modern and minimalistic, overlooking the living area.
• Design Philosophy (Bedroom) – The bedroom was conceptualized right out of a white washboard chic apartment. Again, the theme was to use white equipment’s with dash of color here and there. The lining pattern that you see in the back above the bed is a Texture pattern which we developed specially for the room.
